i keep getting errors while doing windows update. i have tried everything it has told me, but i still get errors. halpp

also, the code for the error is 80070663, if that is needed.

I didn't check the error code because it looks like HyPnAwTiKpImP already got to that.

If that link he found for the error code doesn't work........sometimes the dll files for windows update need re-registered. I have only ran across it a couple times.

"After upgrading to XP SP3 you may notice a problem with using windows update. You might be able to download the updates but not install them.

To re-register windows update go to command prompt and type in the following.

Be sure to hit enter after each entry.

regsvr32 wuapi.dll

regsvr32 wuaueng.dll

regsvr32 wuaueng1.dll

regsvr32 wucltui.dll

regsvr32 wups.dll

regsvr32 wups2.dll

regsvr32 wuweb.dll
