Windows Tinted today!

Got the Blazer Windows tinted today. They were already factory tinted 20% in the back and 40% up front. It's dark as **** now but it looks good. Had them do 15% all the way around plus a visor strip. What you guys think? Hopefully cops wont mess with me too much. 35% is the legal limit up front in NC. Back windows don't matter.

thats not 35% at all, 20%+ 15% tint does not make it 35%....(unless i read your statement wrong)

yea you will def. be stripping that tint back off. 35% is legal here in alabama and they are hard ***** even if its 20%. goodluck is all i can say. and it does look good!

No I was saying the legal limit here up front is 35%. It's definitely illegal now. It's pretty **** dark. The back is actually so dark you can cup your hands and put your face in them on the glass and can't see anything inside.

I dont think you will get hassled. The legal here in GA is 35% as well. Me and all my buddies got 20% and never gotten a ticket. One of my friends actually got pulled over for it and it was metered at 17% and the cop told him he would have given him a ticket if it was under 15% Also I hate the look of the window strip just get some 6000k HID then tint the WHOLE front windshield like 35% then your good to go!

Its legal in arkansas i think to 20% or 25%... I just went with 5% all around and havent been so much as followed by a cop lol. does **** though trying to drive in dark parking lots and shit.....cant see anything. or backing out of my driveway either lol

Looks good. I have 5% all the way around, and my whole windshield is tinted at 40% and I've never been hassled for it. Only thing I ever got a ticket for was because my tail lights are tinted too, and one night my tail light was out so the cop said it was too dark and she couldn't see my tail light, but really it just needed a new bulb. So I wouldn't worry too much about cops, plus they just make you fix it....

looks good!! gotta love tint.. im 5% all the way around with 35% windshield w/ a huge 5% sun strip..

did you go to dmv and get the sticker? because if not i would recommend it then if the cops do pull you over you will not get a hefty fine..

You don't get any kind of sticker for tint from the DMV in North Carolina. If you go too dark you just hope cops don't pull you over and that you know someone that will pass the inspection.
