yea I got a dual boot with debian...but let's face it...it's impossible to not use Windows (in this computing industry) even if there are alternatives.

At least the first day on a new Linux install doesn't involve installing a firewall, anti-virus, anti-adware, a good browser, and a million updates just to make the OS safe for web browsing.

If game developers and app programmers don't want to bother making code work on it, then why do you think Virus coders and script kiddies would want to either? It doesn't hold enough market share for anyone, even exploiters to worry about developing for it. If it took a sizeable marketshare, then people, icluding those with Mal intent would take a close look at it. Not being a target doesn't equate to better security. I have never been in a position to be shot, does this make me bulletproof?

I registered windows too many times with my original CD key and i hate dealing with their BS... so i downloaded a keygen a long time back. lol.

i don't know how old you guys are, but if any of you have friends, family, ****** partners, or are yourself in college, most universities sell xp pro for $30 with a fresh key.
