Unix based server software and Linux operating systems account for nearly 70% of the world wide web. More than every other operating system on the planet combined and doubled. The end user may be Redmond's domain, but for over a decade Linux has ruled the internet. If game developers and app programmers don't want to bother making code work on it, then why do you think Virus coders and script kiddies would want to either? It doesn't hold enough market share for anyone, even exploiters to worry about developing for it. If it took a sizeable marketshare, then people, icluding those with Mal intent would take a close look at it. Not being a target doesn't equate to better security. I have never been in a position to be shot, does this make me bulletproof?
