Trust me.. 8gb + 2.8ghz dual core = windows 7 ***.Meh, I might torrent it eventually, but I've been pretty satisfied with Vista. 8gb of RAM and 2.8ghz dual core seems to run it just fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I don't have any problems with vista...It's not slow, it's not laggy, it doesn't freeze...it works fineTrust me.. 8gb + 2.8ghz dual core = windows 7 ***.7 will run MUCH better than vista.. I suggest you just make teh swap.
Started utilizing the "gadgets" that are pretty much an Apple rip of "widgets".. lol.

I could not agree with you more. It is the same file system and the same OS just got a face lift and a huge service pack.Vista works fine for me. Windows 7 is just a service pack for Vista.

But 7 is an improvement.I could not agree with you more. It is the same file system and the same OS just got a face lift and a huge service pack.
But see you say everything that's wrong with Vista is fixed...I don't have any problems with Vista, I don't think anything's wrong with it!But 7 is an improvement.
I'm not trying to sell you Windows 7. I'm simply stating MY experiences with both operating systems.. and liking win7 5 billion times more than Vista.
99% of everything wrong in Vista.. is fixed & improved in win7.
I mean.. you're making my point. Vista requires a NICE system. Windows 7 on the other hand, is like a professional version of Vista.. which I'd rather have. But see you say everything that's wrong with Vista is fixed...I don't have any problems with Vista, I don't think anything's wrong with it!
I know what they "improved" with 7, and basically all they did was slim down the system requirements and give it a face lift. There was no huge overhaul with the way the system works. My PC is more than capable of handling Vista's hefty requirements, so the only benefit I'd get is the face lift, which I don't really care about //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
It doesn't really matter if your trying to sell my on 7 or not, because I've already played around with it, and know how it feels, and I'm not that impressed (mostly because I actually like Vista)
But see, with a nice computer, there's no need for a smaller OS because it can run Vista just fine. I don't have any problems with it being slow, so any increase in speed I see by upgrading to 7 wouldn't be noticeable anyway.I mean.. you're making my point. Vista requires a NICE system. I can run a barebone machine & still run win7. With a fully stocked machine that you claim to have, why not upgrade to a faster OS?
