have you seen them, having ordinary people trying MS new operating system, youve seen the commercials i know u have.

now the commercial with jerry & bill, OMG has MS spent all their monies on B.S., such crappy, general public must be ignorant air time.

i agree the commercials are gay as ****.

i didnt like vista but i just recently installed it on my desktop and i have to say i like it now. i still use XP on my laptop though.

Most people I run into hate Vista because they "heard it sucks" but haven't actually used it. Yes, there are people who have used it and still disliked it for one reason or another, but I find most people who use it and are willing to learn it are quite content with it.

Personally, I can't stand using XP anymore. Vista's built-in features, software and utilities kick *** and I sorely miss them whenever I use an XP computer.

I can't say I've seen the commercials, though.

The biggest reason people who have used Vista don't like it is that it is probably installed on a PC that doesn't have adequate resources, i.e. memory, CPU, GPU, etc.

I have used Vista on a computer built to run it, (not store-bought), and my experience was very good. I am in the process of building a new PC right now, and I will be running Vista when it is complete.

Vista seems ok, but its just something new to adapt too, Mac is more expensive than a lot of people can afford for personal use.

very true. History repeats itself... when xp came out everyone always said it was a resource ***** and it was, but look how big of a jump it was from w2k.
