Window Tinting

As others said do it right and get someone to professionally to install it, around here you can get two side windows, back window and a strip on the front for about $90-125 well worth it to make it look good instead of half assing it..

Not saying you would half *** it just it takes a lot of skill to do it, if you are willing to spend some money and do it a few times you can probably learn and get it done after 2-3 times.

I think im gonna try it myself just to because i want to learn and maybe do others for a few bucks here and there. Too bad the auto parts store only has 20% then 5%. i wanted to get 15

if it bubble after a few months you did something incorrectly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Gila is a good product and had no problems with bubblin or cracking/peeling. I just installed gila 2.5% on my project in 35 degree weather and she looks sweet/BTW i wouldnt recommend installing tint in this cold of weather but that was before i purchased a heater for the garage. For those stubborn finger bubbles i used a hairdryer to the outside of the glass put it facing the finger bubble and heat it up and keep trying to push the bubble towards the edge of the window with a credit card or something similar, works great for the stubborn sob's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
pros use heat guns, not hair dryers...

lets just say i have over $400 in tinting tools and its more like a starters package, pros probably have a grand or more in tools...

visit tintdude fellas if you're interested...

you're not going to look decent until you're over a dozen cars, trust me...

unless you have a pro who's done it for years teach you step by step in person, otherwise if you're like most of us, who learns from reading online and shit, then its gonna be a while...

sometimes heat guns put to much heat on the tint and thats not that good but it sounds like youve been doing it for sometime so you may know how to correctly distribute the heat some novices cant and may shrink it too much or even melt it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i suggest johnson window films.... that shit never (for me anyway) has cracked peeled or bubbled.... take my word for it on that one... yea the shits pricey but its worth it... it is also guaranteed NOT to turn purple, as u see alot of cars rollin with purple tint... that used to be black... that is unless u want to tint ure car once a year
