Window tint.

the tint in factory glass isn't baked on, its added to the glass when in a liquid state, the clear liquid glass is dyed that color. it can never be removed through any process. there are ways to bake tint onto glass but they don't apply to car windows, its for commercial or flat glass as we call it, laminating, vapor depositing , sputtering, glazing are just some of the types but these are not removable either, you'd ruin the glass trying to remove them. window films on the other can be removed because they don't become part of the glass's integrity
there are baked methods as well.. and as for the removing I have no idea about that.. for regular tint added down the road take pick at the top and as soon as you get a little piece up spray the back with windex it comes up easy.. the ammonia gets rid of all the stickiness.. then you clean the glass off

i could have sworn there was a way. i thought you had to soak it in ammonia type liquid. i cant find anything so my guess is there is no way to remove it. my bad
that does apply to window film but not factory dyed glass.....i'm not trying to argue with you instead justtryingto keep you from telling someone how to do this to their car and having them ruin their interior cause they are trying to get off tint with chemicals, that will never come off

i wasnt telling anyone how to do it i simply said that there was a way it could be removed but i did not know exactly how to do it (and it might not even be possible anyway)

yes and no kyle...not all tint will peel that way. as far as ammonia to remove the glue, yes it will do that but it will dissove it and it then runs down all over the door gaskets and panel...better to just keep it wet with soap and water then it won't get all over. trust me on this i've been tinting windows for years
