I've learned that the best way to avoid tint tickets is to just not attract attention to yourself.

I have 20% up front and 5% in the back and no tickets yet.

I just got my third window tint ticket in the last 3 months. I was leaving the court after i had just got done paying a previous window tint ticket and got pulled over 2 blocks from my house. another $75. it is complete bullshit. dont cops have something better to do then give a poor college student a ticket becasue his windows are too dark?
Looks like im gonna have to take off the 2% tint on my front windows and put on some 15 or 20%.

yeah its really dark at night but i put 3 cameras on my car so i can see. 1 on each side and 1 in the back. i have them going to a rearview mirror monitor.

FYI. You're not a "poor" college student. You're a spoiled rich brat who thinks the rules don't apply to, and too fawking stupid to take the hint after the first ticket.

The fact that you've gotten ticketed 3 times for the same thing, and the comment you posted, leads me to believe you failed the attitude test the first time, and now they have a hard on to bust you.

Big rims, ricer car, subwoofers, tinted windows, cameras and attitude. You're going to talk to these same cops again. They know your car and will pop you again.

I have heard using Brake cleaner or regular Parts Cleaner on your Windows will take the tint right off no problems....

Haven't ever used it before though......so don't quote me

Brake cleaner is corrosive on paint too.

i got my windows tinted to match the factory tint on the back which i assume is legal i dont get ****ed with i wanna black out my back windows but im affraid it will look gay

My friend got the same thing but he took his off and had his dropped...I told him you should have taken pictures of all the cars at the police station and show the judge those pictures...Half of my towns police force has there windows full tinted but still have the nerve to hand out a tint ticket to their citizens.

I had that glue shit on my windows for over a year before I finally took the time to razor blade it all off. I really wish we could have front window tint here in VT but it is a no go.

Yeah I was kind of thinking that when I posted it but didn't know for sure.

My dad is the one that used it on my stepsisters car because there in IL you cannot have your front side windows tinted at ALL. He said the tint came off real easy, but I doubt he let it get on the body of the car and if it did he wiped it off immediately.

Thats why I checked state law, which is 35%, and got 35%. But i know alot of people who have 5% and none of them have ever had a ticket..

Hell here the cops have 15% or even limo tint on their undercover cars.

Ive got 5% on the vette, and 15% on the jeep for 5 years now. No issues.

It just depends on where you live man.
