really? here in CA its a fix it ticket. If you fix the tint you pay $10 if not you pay the full fine. You have 2% tint you said? A friend of mine had 5% tint on all of the windows in his truck and it was pretty scary driving at night because you cant see pedestrians crossing the road until they are right in front of you.

They raised the fix it ticket fine. I think I paid $35 because the have administration fees now:crying:. When I took my tint out and had an officer sign the ticket he told me he and most of the cops in this area really dont care about tint he also said that it all depends if the cop wants to be an ******* and give a pos fix it ticket haha

how the hell do u get all the glue off?

I got pulled over twice by the same state trooper here in WI. The 2nd time he was going to write me a ticket for tint which is $186.50.... PER WINDOW. I told him I would pull it off right there but he let me go with a 2nd warning. Funny thing is, the tint was only 5% from max in front (rear was limo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ). As the prick was telling me this, a truck drove by with no muffler and no lights on the drivers side front or rear.

About a month later the same guy pulled me over and said I cut someone off, as he came to the car I said, why don't you just ask me for my phone number //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif He didn't give me a ticket since I rattled off the make and colors of the vehicles around me at that time and said I would see him in court.

Oh, BTW, the only reason I was illegal in the front is because of the factory tint to windows, which is usually 5%. with that, I was over the limit !!!!!!

2% tint is dark as hell. The law in Cleveland is no more than 50% on the front windows, and yes dark window tint is definetly a safety issue for officers. I dont think you would have gotten another ticket right after paying one, but just find out what percentage that you can legally go to, and retint.

Yea, I kept getting tickets too, ended up just staying legal, which is 50% on front sides (none on windscreen), and whatever you want behind front doors (including back window). Got 2.5% behind the fronts including rear, pissed I had to take the 20% off the fronts though... (ohio FYI)

here there is no fine, its a repair order, you have to take it to the mva to get tested, if its too dark you have so many days to fix it or your tags are suspended

you have to sit there and scrape the glue off with a razor blade. i took the tint off the front windshield after the first ticket and it took me 2-3 hours to get every little bit of glue off

I got one for my 15% tint, but I think they just use it as an excuse to pull you over and make sure your not black.

If your driving around with 26" rims and 5% tint on a caprice you are getting pulled over daily for "tint".

I now have a black grand marquis, and I want to get 22s, and tint, but I'm affraid they are going to seriously pull me over for bs ALL the time. Sounds bad, but that's life.

I'm just kidding about the black thing, but my sister got pulled over for tint, and she is a preppy white girl, and they just let her go so...
