I just got my third window tint ticket in the last 3 months. I was leaving the court after i had just got done paying a previous window tint ticket and got pulled over 2 blocks from my house. another $75. it is complete bullshit. dont cops have something better to do then give a poor college student a ticket becasue his windows are too dark?
Looks like im gonna have to take off the 2% tint on my front windows and put on some 15 or 20%.

Man i would have taken it off the first time and retint it.

Back at home, you can either take off the tint and show the judge and he'll drop the citation or you can be stupid and pay for the citation and then they make u take it off as well.

really? here in CA its a fix it ticket. If you fix the tint you pay $10 if not you pay the full fine. You have 2% tint you said? A friend of mine had 5% tint on all of the windows in his truck and it was pretty scary driving at night because you cant see pedestrians crossing the road until they are right in front of you.

tint ticket in chicago is 250 now. I took mine off.

yeah its really dark at night but i put 3 cameras on my car so i can see. 1 on each side and 1 in the back. i have them going to a rearview mirror monitor.
