Window tint question.

When i get my license i plan to tint my windows. My dad bieng by a police officer will only let me get the legal limit ... that bieng 32% in Georgia. I just wanted to know yalls opinion if this will be dark enough to tell much of a difference. Or if you have 32 on your car ( or close to it ) post pics please.

i had 35% did not look like much at all. so i went with 15%. let me find some pics.

as far as privacy no it won't be that dark in the front but you can get 20% on the back which will help it to look darker. if you get a good film instead of cheapo crap it will make a big difference on how it cools the car.

i got 20% on my car and no cop has ever given be a problem. if they wanted to be asses when they pull me over they would just look at the box were the back seat should be.

30% is not really dark at all. 20% is still kinda high.

Personally, it makes a big difference between stock windows and 35%. It'll look much better tinted,even if it's tinted a lil!

i have 30% in the back and 35% in the front.

sometimes it looks dark, other times it looks really light. the cops have only given me trouble once though.

note* this is in bright sunlight so the tint is looking lighter at this point. looks darker when cloudy or at night. also, i have a light colored interior so it looks lighter than if i had a black interior.

second note* get 5% darker in the back than what is in the front because cops only meter the drivers window unless there is a huge difference.

I got 20 in the front and 5 in the back and i regret not going with 5 in the front as well. I've never gotten pulled over with my tints and i've had them on for about a year now and it really makes a huge difference. My opinion, go with 5's all around, its your best bet and whenever you see your dad, just roll down all your windows lol
