They are not very expensive. Just check out your local auto parts store. They should have them. I've have used a small pair of needle nose pliers.

Depending on the type of car, there may not even be a clip.

FWIW, I do better with a big flat-head screw driver.

i was going to say a flat head...but the crank taker offer is only a few bucks.

I didn't even need a tool for mine...just pop the top cover of the crank off, exposing the set screw.
