Ive never used this antenna, except when I put it on my Go cart to see how well it works and it got out pretty far without me tuning it at all and I never drove the go cart with it on. I attached it to my trailer that sat in my backyard over the past summer and I took it off in August. It is white and has the 22" shaft. It was a little over $80 after taxes. I bought a mirror bracket that is meant for a semi (but you can mount it on other things) for $10 , and 50ft of cable that is in great condition for $30.

Here is some info on it...

Uses Silver Plated 10 gauge, Solid Copper Wire outperforms copper, nickel, & chrome plating Easily Handles 3,500 Watts Large coil housing for increased power handling Exclusive low loss coil design (Patent #4,882,591) Made From High Impact Engineering Thermoplastics Frequency Range: 26 MHz to 30 MHz, 7-7 spring stainless steel whip Can be used as a single antenna or co-phased for dual antennas 3/8" X 24" Standard Threaded Shaft 22" shaft

I'll also give you a Cobra CB radio but I dont know if it works.

Im looking to get $65 + shipping for it from 48135

@ $45 it's a pretty good deal...the bracket is worth $10-$15 of that.

I still would buy a 102" whip for half that and get performance that more than doubles, but not all have the room for that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

46" in total? you sure thats not a 10 meter antenna? They can be used for 11 meter CB but you really need side band to get its fullest potential if it is.

and whips are noob shit the rednecks around here use crazy *** antennas with these gigantic coils on them looks like some crazy madmax stuff.

A quarter-wave 102" whip will beat out any coil loaded antenna. Those big coils are simply adding electrical length to the antenna to get it to 102", and since its packed into a smaller space, radiation resistance goes up, and electrical Q gets narrower. The antenna will have a tighter VSWR curve and not work as well on the entire band, even if the performance somehow challenges a full size whip on a channel, which it won't //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Those coils are impressive to look at, but my skinny, slender, 9 and a half foot shaft (could I get one more innuendo in there?) will get the job done better. I'm also running 25W on AM, and 100W on SSB...not much considering what is out there, but I doubt they're as clean as modified ham gear.

How did I get on this subject? lol...and I know you were probably just joking around, but I felt like talking about that...don't know why...
