will we ever grow out of it?

I'll never get tired of aftermarket because I simply cannot enjoy music on a factory system. I hate when I see guys rolling on the strip trying to bump factory systems that sounds like nothing but distortion.

Probably cant escape my inevitable fate considering its all I do at work as well as outside of work. Even if I didnt want tons of bass, I'd still be tempted to do a decent setup just because I can get good prices on some stuff.

i am much older then the average member on this forum and i have yet to grow out of it. matter a fact i like it more now then i did when i was a kid. but i think that is only because i can afford it easy now. also if you look at all the people wining the major comps and the people with the serious quality systems you wont find very many if any teenage kids.

I was 12 years old in 1992 and I started with DJ equipment and built DJ enclosures and such.

Then I started competing in 1995 when I was 15 in SPL and have been doing it ever since. Now I am a multi time world finalist and dont plan on ever stopping.

15 years and counting, wife keeps saying and I keep thinking I will outgrow it but it never happens. Only difference if I am older and can afford better gear so I have not ran Pyramid, Pyle or Boss in years //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Have just been in it for a little over 3 years...Have had 2 setups, with this one 4.5dB louder than the first.

And next summer I plan on upgrading again..My dad always tells me im gonna be dead by the time I'm 30. I told him as long as I can still hear a turkey gobble ill be fine.

Dead or deaf, 2 completely different things //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

As for me, It's been 1+ for car audio, about 12 or 13 years for home audio and I'm only 22. So I hope I never out grow it.
