will upgrading to bigger sub increase db?

I have a kicker solobaric L7 10" in a ported box. It's the same as the link below but 10" version. If I get the 12" version, will I get an increase in db?

How much room do you have? A lot better can be had for that 350$.

maybe that depends on alot of things mostly the box its in. and no putting it in the same box u have the ten in wont work

Short answer, you might not notice a difference. Now if you went with a better 12" sub for that $350, in a better box, then you almost definitely will.

Pretty much what everyone else said lol. If your gonna pay the price of an L7 then there's so many better subs out there.
