Ive got a 2004 gmc sierra with factory bose stereo. can i use a line out converter to hook up a amp and sub and still use the factory amp for the highs?

I wouldn't see why not, but you's lose a pair of speakers somewhere..

you wouldn't loose a pair of speakers it's still possible to run a line level and still keep the factory speakers connected.
