Sorry, I'm not sure what that means? If you look at the pic there is a bolt coming straight form the floor should I directly ground there?

where you hav it grounded now is sheetmetal. find the frame of the car.

This is of the spot I am now pondering.....it is the floor....not exactly the frame, but this is the floor...?

make sure it is good strong metal connected strongly to the car. avoid welded spots, and flimsy metals. these spots can cause resistance. heat also does as well, but you dont have to worry about that to much unless you are doing your big three soon.

I mean this piece of metal touches EVERYTHING! and no, no big three in the near future....HU before that...and that's not til the end of summer....

Is it welded on though? And is it solid, try and move it with your hands to see if it is flimsy. And also how thick is it?

Just cover any exposed wire with electrical tape and you'll have nothing to worry about..

Not sure of its welded, but it ain't moving! Can't tell how thick it is, not thin though. On a jeep forum they seem to ground to the bolt holding the front seat down.

Why don't you drill a hole and ground to the blue/grey metal that the black thing is connected to. It looks a lot more solid.
