what type of enclosure? and is the car a hatch or what? i think it will be loud. i heard one in tweeters the other day and it was shaking the eniter store basically. but then again, what is loud differs for everyone.

yea im gettin the specs next week cause they have to order the sub but i got the amp and im buildin my own box when i get the specs

Man ppl say its all about the install. I just think its if you give ur sub the proper enclosure its made for and the proper rms. Go ported for the loudest. Make sure u use 4 guage for power cable. and make sure u give that sub atleast the rms it calls for. Even over do it a 100 watts or so. Its good for it =).

loud is a relative term. If you already bought it then go with it and find out. It should sound real sweet though.

That's not really true. Power handling is determined by the box size and box style (ported/sealed). In most ported applications (and some sealed), subs don't need to receive their full RMS to reach their maximum potential. Sometimes even half (or less) of their rated RMS will push them to their limits.

It's tough to predict loud before actuall install. My fiance got a Pioneer 8" sub enclosure off Ebay for $20 to add some bass to her stock ride (2000 4Runner). We feed it with a Fosgate 160A2 and even the guy at the shop who does alot of wild systems was floored at how much bass that little bastard gave her ride. Then I talk to a kid today with a truck like mine and he has 2 10's in the back of the Extended cab and with full volume I heard bass but FELT nothing???..It's all in the set up!

If you have to ask, then, NO!

There is so much more to it than equipment. If loud is all you care about there are many cheaper ways to go about getting loud than a W7.
