i currently have 2 2000spl's being pushed by a hifonics 1500d and i was wanting to upgrade to a bigger amp, especially after seeing a birthsheet for the hifonics.......my car has the stock alternator (90 camaro, not sure what amperage)

but it stays at right under 14 volts with the system up loud.i saw the orion refurbs on ikesound going for $209 +shipping, and i saw the directed 1200 refurb going for $175 + shipping (1200rms @ what voltage?). I my friend wants to buy my hifonics for $180 and i was wanting to put that money towards a new amp, all thats left now is to get some input from u guys.....

p.s. i was also looking at the power acoustik 1800d off etronics and they looked pretty good for the money..........any help???what would you suggest for around $200 +shipping that would do 1100rms+??

Someone is selling a Power Acoustik 3000BD for $215 shipped. I was gonna get it but it would be too big to fit in my wheel well, where I want to make an amp rack. 1100 watts at 4 ohms, you should jump on that man.

i don't want to buy from a private seller, (kinda iffy sometimes) but i would buy form monte though, i've been quoted for a 1800d

I think you would notice a slight difference. For the price you can sell your amp and get a new Orion or Directed amp I would do it. Orion, Directed>Hifonics

sounds good, is $180 a good price for my hifonics??it's a 10/10 cosmetically and mechanically, i got it back in october 04 for $250 off ebay, (dad bought it for me for my b-day, so its a 100% profit either way) whats it worth???
