I would say you will be fine . I have a few of these amps and the folks on here are right on here that they will let the smoke out and that isnt good . If it does blow you will here a pop and click and then you will here road noise !!!

a 2nd alternator is never a bad thing, but sounds like you have quite a bit to bolster your voltage.

make sure you keep an eye on the voltage. I found out the hard way it wont run on a stock Dodger Charger SRT8 with two batteries. I smoked two of them, and was ready to beat on some stereo guys. They should have known it needed more juice. I got my money back and went with two JL 1000/1

Well thats not good. The above setup was not good at all. Only put up a 143.2 The box is way to big for those woofers. I peaked at 49hz

i ran my 4kw off a single yellow top up front with 1 pos and 1 neg runs back to the amp. and 6 runs of 1/0 between the 220amp alt and that yellow top. withthe rmp's up i managed to maintain 12v and the amp never heated up even after daily bumping.

with that alty and extra bats you'll be fine. i highly recommend at the very least a dedicated neg run of 1/0 for every pos run. dont bother with chasis grounding when you're pushing this kind of amperage. to be nice to your electrical dont bump when your rpm's are low.

and if you took a SS 6500d over a mojo 4kw you should be lynched, this mojo is a FAR superior amp. one of the best 4kw range amps IMO
