So i have a stock alt and a stock battery. The alt is 80 amps i believe. I recently added another power wire to my set up (dont ask why) so i had 2 30a fuses. From then i wired my subs to 1 ohm instead of 4. When i turned it up it kept blowing the fuses, so i bought 60a fuses. Now i have a 30a and a 60a fuse under the hood. The amp has an 80a fuse (evd-2200). I notice inside lights dim when i turn it up, but i dont mind it.

Will i be ok in this set up in the long run? Or should i buy a better battery and HO alt?

I've only been running this set up for 2 days, and still havent used it at night. So when ever i turn on my headlights i'll really see how bad it is. The inside lights weren't dimming that bad though, lil noticeable, but not severe

The alternator has been recently repaired due to a bad bearing, but other than that its the same one that's been in the car (1995 Nissan 200SX SE-R). I think it's still under warranty from the guys who fixed it.

Nah, im originally wasn't put going to put a lot in the car soundwise as i plan on selling it soon and getting a new car. I've only spent about 450 on my whole stereo components. I only went for 1 ohm because my uncle bought a car, and it had 4g on it so he took it off and gave it to me. IIRC, the wires are 4g in the big 3, or a lil smaller.

Ok, so i drove it in the dark last night, and i had to look for the dimming because it wasn't very noticable. My voltage drops below 12v when the bass hits though. Also, sometimes i turn on my car and it dies on me if i dont gas it, is that because of the battery?
