i have been very careful and cut the old paper cap off, and only 0,4" is still there from the old one, but how and with what can i glue the new cf cap on? can i use some black siliconeglue? i´m a sort of a pedantic, so i want it to look nice too..

and the new cap is a little bigger than the old one, i marked the pic with some red paint where the new cap will sit,

my local hobby shop does not have ca glue. i usually order it form nick at incriminator. when you do it use the activator. if you don't use activator the fumes from the ca can cause a white stain on the sub sometimes.

okey, one more thing, as you can see the new dc will be right on top on the old DD black cosmetic glue that are a bit in on the cone, does the ca glue fix on that old glue you think?

ok sjobas i've actually done the same swap on mine....use the ca glue around the outside and do not use the activator. it will turn the glue white....the cf cap will get a white dusty film after the ca dries....then just dust it off and everything will work...i have pics if you wanna see.

pics are always welcome //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Using TOO much activator turns the glue white. If you mist it on properly it won't do that. Just reconed 2 subs the other day and had NO problems with the glue turning white anywhere...
