Sonic says it but then also says 250-600 max rms. I wouldn't run it the full 600 watts all the time
Alpine S-W12D4 • 1800W Max 600W RMS 12" Type-S Series Dual 4 Ohm Car Subwoofer • 1800 Watts Max • 600 Watts RMS • Pulp/Kevlar Cone • High Amplitude Multi-Roll HAMR Surround • High Strength Steel Frame Basket • Progressive Spider with Reinforced Layer Tinsel Leads • 65 mm Voice Coil with...
And after looking if it was me I think I would have the Hertz they have in the SS12D2 yeah it is 1,000 watts rms but you won't damage a subwoofer with not enough power can always upgrade the amplifier as well down the line to match the rms output. Hertz makes some nice subwoofers as well. Can still run it at 2ohms or 1ohm in the future if you upgrade your amplifier to a 1ohm capable mono-block amplifier. Alpine is nice but I think I would have gone up a series in their lineup.
