that may actually be to much power.

with that amp you'd be good with L7's

i had the exact same setup, (l7's and that amp) in a 6ft cu. box, it was verrrrry nice

BTW that amp is very underrated, you're looking at around 1400 RMS with it.

yes, it will power them nicely, if you get the 06 L5's, no problems (as basically they are 05 L7's)

new.. P.. the only thing that might disappoint me is the ohms..

someone told me since its 4 ohms it wont sound as loud as if i gotten 2 ohm speakers.

Completely and utterly incorrect.

You'll have TWO dual4ohm speakers, which will present your amp with a final 1ohm load. This is a perfect match.

swooot.. thanks guys all worries are wiped from my head.. another question.. will i be able to run the subs without a custom head unit? thanks.. i plan on getting a book @ barnes and nobles to inform my self a little more.. i know the basics but im gonna learn what i need to do to install it

now all i need to do is

1) buy the amp (saterday)

2) build the box.. (Next week?)

3) buy a head unit (when i run into money)

If you want to run them w/o an aftermarket HU... you will need and LOC (Line output converter). I recommend a David Navone LOC, pretty cheap, adjustable, good quality. ~$20...

Why do you state this and the power ratings are different for this yrs 06 L5 and last yrs 05L7s???

If they were the same then why are the ratings different??

took the words right out of my mouth. that would also mean L5 L7 are the same now? from what i've read the 05/06 L7s are just different color.
