Will a Kicker KISLOC 2 channel do same as audio control lc-2?

nope, the only thing they have in common is both will change high level inputs to low level inputs. the LC2 has some processing in it while the KISLOC doesn't.

I'm just plugging it into a mark Levinson system to run my sub. JBL bp 1200.1 to a FI 12" Q in a spec built ported box

Is there a cheaper way to hook the amp up to the stock system than the lc-2?

the reason to use the LC2i is for bass restoration when the factory amp protects the factory speakers (or compensates for active noise control).

the LC2i is a nice piece and i recommend it over the Kicker.

for a more basic LOC, i recommend the David Navone Engineering N-RHL2 or N-RHL4
