will a bass processor give you higher numbers?

I but an Epicenter in my system, and I think the SPL actually decreassed. The bass seemed to be louder, but the woofers actually moved less. I'm not sure how that worked exactly. That MT from your sig will accept much more abuse than the CVR's I had, so you might have better results. I think you may gain some SPL if you set it up to be centered at what your box is tuned to (if ported duh).

A bass processor will not increase your PEAK spl score. It may increase it for certain notes or songs though.

An epicenter is something you use to add bass to songs that originally didn't have bass/had weak bass.

Then am I right in assuming the BX12 is not the same as a Epic. Sorry I assumed it was in the same class of things.

thanks for the info. I think I will hold off then. ohh and the MT is gone, going with a pair of 12" SX now. better fit for the trunk
