Will a 3G ipod touch work with an Alpine 103BT HU

Using the Alpine KCE-433iV ipod wire

Ive got the 8GB ipod touch if it matters. Ive read that the 8GB is pretty much exactly the same as the 2nd generation ipod touch, so should it still work?

I know with my cda 9886 with the ipod cable, ipod touches and iphones will work, but it won't charge them.

I know on my Eclipse I had to buy the Ipod adapter box to make it charge, regular usb plug would not work on the Ipod Touches.

Yea, having it be able to charg isnt overly important to me. Im not going to leave it in the car all the time anyways.

So long as itll be able to play music from it ill be happy
