I'm getting 2 oa 18s in a couple of months or so and I'm getting a box built to 29hz built for them. I'm curious about what I should be expecting. I'm really hoping a 145... Anyone have experience with these subs? At first I'm only going to give them 800 watts but when I get an AQ2200 they will be getting around 900 each depending on how they handle it.

They will take that 2200 with ease depending on box and who knows depends on your vehicle and all kinds of other **** you are tuning low for numbers tho

Well I had 2 kicker cvr 12s in a prefab from Kicker for my first system which is still my current system, and it gets pretty loud but not crazy loud like physically moving or anything. I don't have a TL so I can't meter them, so I have no reference. Maybe 145 isn't as loud as I think it is?

And yeah my vehicle is an extended cab truck.

Im also doing 2 OA 18s and shooting for 150 playing music on 30-45 second average in a street style box(i will accept a 150 BURP on the dash lol). Im running 3kw before rise & voltage to them.

How do plan to fit those into a extended cab unless your doing a wall? I have a SUV and im pushing it on my enclosure.

I'm using my entire back seat... They just need 12 cubes net it's not hard for me. I just have to go maybe three inches above my side window line.

yea like @NASTY08IMPALA; said. i see a capable 150 IMO.

Yo bigowdy31, you know you just made me realize I forgot to calculate wood thickness for my internal volume calculations... Gonna have to be a bit bigger than I planned hahaha. My dimensions are 46 inches width 26 inches height and a variable depth from 20 - 23 inches depending on port displacement. I'm putting subs in inverted also to save some space.

I dont see why not. I have two 10's in a 5 cubic foot box tuned to 31hz and I can do hair tricks.

If your inverting your subs, just make sure you cut the right size hole in the box so the surround doesn't hit the box and destroy your subs.
