I have a question about it. I heard you can play old games with it. How does that work and do they sell them or what?

the nintendo offers wifi capabilaty so i can connect wirelessly and they have a wiichannel where you can buy old games off the nes snes genesis, turbografix, and n64

Yup it has to be wireless.

i thought it had a hook up for some type of internet but i have to look into it, im glad i have wireless in the house makes it a breeze to get to the internet. but i will check my manual for other internet options if there are any

ok they have a wii LAN line adapter that you can buy or you can buy the nintendo wifi usb connector for the computer if u have dial up.

Nintendo has to fix their servers...it still takes FOREVER to load up the Wii Shop. doesn't work for me 9 out of 10 times...so manyp eople on it that its impossible to get on yourself...but everyone list their Wii ID's!

you guys like your wii, still deciding if I should take it off ebay and just keep it. Since I'm not gonna make a ton off it, I'm thinking of just keeping the bish.

I love my WII...money well spent IMO. tons of fun...the new Zelda game for it is just amazing. One of the best in the series. Ive played Wii Sports also, since it came with it, it seems horrible, but its addicting and tons of fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif And as far as controller wise...i believe you have to use the Wii Remote for all games/nunchuck for some.

there aren't a whoel lot of games out for the virtual console right now...but I'm sure they plan on releasing more.

i downloaded the original sonic the hedgehog today in less than a minute i was impressed. i agree the wii is well worth the money and im hooked especially with these old games, jus rented call of duty 3.

well i dont know how that happened, its not even that serious to let go of the thing, sweaty palms ha. yea right. but i love playing with the remote its great, jus dont let anyone walk in front of u while playing thats the only downfall i see

i will snatch up one when they have something to offer like elderscrolls. i think thats the only reason im contemplating the PS3.... that and its a blu-ray player which will cost me a grand anyway.

how do you get the number and all? like how do u get connected on the net? I may have to buy the LAN adapter and use that, but other than that....where do you go on the Wii menu to get connected and where you can see others and what they are playing?
