wich amp please ??

I need to power two Boston G5 12" to a final load of 1ohm. I have a KICKER SX 600.2 wich im kinda underpowering them by only giving both around 275 watts each. but they can handle 450.

I was thinking of upgrading with either KICKER SX 1250.1 or an ALPINE PDX 1.1000 or maybe something else

teh Alpine would be a solid choice.

Are both stable at 1ohm, Alpines website only had 2 and 4 ohm ratings and I know Kickers new stuff doesnt go to 1 ohm. The SX might but check that out first.

yea i like the alpine and i could wire the G5s to 8 ohm each wich would give me 4 ohm load with them two so yea 1000 watts at 4 ohms would be perfect if that is the case!!

may want to look at an american bass vfl80. 1 ohm stable will do 1000 rms . very respectable amps. or the rockford amps are power class are 1 ohm stable.
