I prefer trunkspace, sealed and SQ so I got myself a Brahma. Adire's presence on the forums is even more of a bonus.

I personally would get a XXX because of the look of the sub. I prefer it. But, as for sound, they both are great. I have only heard a XXX and every1 says the brahma is almost the exact same. So they both kick ***.

As for the discussion at hand........... The Brahma is more of an SQ sub and the XXX is more of an SPL sub. The XXX can handle more power, has more excursion, and is a little more hardy to abuse because of that. The brahma requires a smaller enclosure for a given alignment, has a flatter frequency response, lower inductance, and is a little less expensive. I think the intended application will dictate which would be the best to choose.
