Why won't my XM radio play through my HU?

I have a 9887 and have the source set to "aux," and my Delphi Skifi2 is indicating "direct" in the upper left hand corner, which I think means it realizes it's connected directly. I have the Delphi connected using an Ai-net adapter with a 1/8" mini-jack. Makes no sense. I had it connected exacly the same way to my 7892 and it worked just fine. Now I'm getting no sound whatsoever. I don't get it.

"direct" has nothing to do with it being connected...

see if you can go in to the menu of the skyfi and make sure the setting are right for being hooked with the mini jack.

also go deeper in to the alpine menu and make sure the "aux" is actually turned on..
