Why not use aero's in a wall? I seen Mike Hughes's setup and looks nice.

I have been hearing that you shouldn't use aero's in a wall. My new design I am going to have to use them because I don't have enough baffle space to do any slot. Anyways I know Mike Huges is big in the SPL game and his wall with the three 18's has a lot of aero ports. I will be doing the same type of thing with 3 18's and then plan on using 4 8" tubes. he's done a few more builds for WI guys and used aero's in their walls. Heard one of them the other week and it hit low and loud. Nothing wrong with using aero's in a wall....

Aero's in a wall rock. Gotta love that low and mean sound.I do not know why everybody is tuning to 26 or 28hz though.I would say do it...will not be dissapointed.

The only problem guys run into with aeros in a wall is with the mounting depth of the ports. As long as you have plenty of depth for the ports, including clearance behind them, then you're fine.

x2, walls generally aren't that deep, and to get a reasonably low tuning you need some depth for a full length aero, maybe longer.

Awesome thanks guys. Box is gonna be 32" deep and think the ports will be around 18-21" so should be alright.
