why my rl-p doesnt ****

mmmmmmmm rl-s.... 38 mm xmax with what is stacking up to be a near bottomless design //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
too bad I am selling everything and am about to be broke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
38+mm and its ALL linear!

the RL-s uses the LMT( Linear Motor Technology) everyone keeps calling it a special motor...but it has less to do with the motor, and moreso a special voice coil //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

that's what xmax is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

In your defense though, tc and ss are supposedly brutally honest about their xmax numbers. Apparently it is very easy to squeeze a little more out of a woofer ona dumax unfairly. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i was talking about the 38+

someone that knows the RL-s pretty well told me it was capable of around 45mm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Xmax is going to depend on design. Sure, you could make it capable of 45mm Xmax, or you could limit the design to around 38mm Xmax. I think the Parthenon has proven what subwoofers are "capable" of; anything less is a result of design limitations //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
