Got my eclipse Double Din stolen last night, cut my factory harness and all, didnt touch, my ipod, maui jim sunglasses, 9mm, or brand new pair of Air Max, just my double din.. You can get nice 2 way remote start alarms installed for $500.00. MUCH less expensive than a window replacement and the loss of an irreplaceable unit. NO WAY would I leave a firearm in a car parked outside either. You got LUCKY there. They could have taken it and come inside your house, ***** you and your whole family and took everything you own. Why you? Because you did nothing to prevent it.

If I had a gun in my car, and woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of my alarm letting me know someone has broken into that car, that would make for a sticky situation to walk out onto the front porch and investigate.

yep but still lucky they didn't take the gun. They could have went and murdered someone and this guy would be suspect #1. No alibi, his gun at crime scene means prison time for him. He has no idea how lucky he actually is.

I had ran in my grandmothers house I was only there for maybe an hour at the most, the Hu was tethered, with the steel cable stuff from lowes, they had to destroy my dash to get it out which they did.. I only have the stock alarm and I always make sure my doors where locked, none of the windows where busted. The cops said that the keypad on the outside of 02-05 explorers are easy to get into :/

but like stated, coulda been worse, youre lucky they left all that other stuff. Gotta make best of what happened and move on.

ive had expensive **** get stolen from me too in the past, someone stole my diamond stud earrings from my locker at school, DURING a football game. they were locked up and NO one knew where i kept them in my locker during the games. They just picked my locker to go through and pick through my stuff, i couldnt do a thing about it because i was playing. I only lost like 10 cash along with it though because that morning i went to the bank and deposited my wad of cash. The earrings were given to me by my grandparents for christmas a few years ago. hey at least a head unit isnt that emotionally attacked to you, still ***** though.
