After playing my stereo for a few hours and then switching CD's my voice cuts off and only bass is heard. The thing is that after I turn the head unit off and then on, not even a minute later the voice comes on...Is my amp getting too hot and if it is, why would it come back on after less then a minute and stay on until I switch CD's and have to go through the same process described above?
Head unit: Pioneer DEH-580mp
Speakers:
front door: (2) whip audios 6.5" 100w rms/200w
rear fill: (2) O2 audio 6.5" 100w rms/200w
subwoofer:Kicker solo baric L7 12" in a ported enclosure
Amps:
for sub: KICKER ZX750.1 MONO CLASS D
for speakers: Kicker ZX850.4 (bridged to 2 channels)
since the speakers are 8 ohms I have them on parallel to equal 4 ohms
I also have a Hifonics HFXR 2 crossover and a 1.5 farad capacitor
