why is there distortion?

Switched it to AC and finally got a voltage readout. My gains were set WAY too high. I got it set to the user manual. And WOW. Clarity increased so much at loud levels. I can push my HU to 28 29 without any distortion at all. I had no idea gains made this much of a difference.

These speakers are very nice sounding. What would you recommend setting the HPF at for these CTX65cs speakers?

Ok. I don't know where my first post went... so I'll just repost.

So setting the voltmeter to AC fixed the problem and now my speakers sound amazing. I never knew setting the games properly made THAT big of a difference, but wow. Much better clarity at loud volumes.

Also. What would you recommend setting the HPF at for the ID CTX65cs?
