Why is my rf T2000 weaker than my rf t1000bdcp?

I've just purchased a rf T2000 from here. It was suppose to be an upgrade but infact a downgrade becuase the bass is almost two time weaker. Both amps were on the same electrical set up. A yellowtop optima under the hood, and kinetik in the back, all 0 awg wiring including big 3 on a stock95 amp alternator. Is the T2000 just more power hungry thats why its so much weaker than the T1000bdcp? I'm thinking of reselling the amp asap.

because RF is conforming to the LOW standards of every other mainstream manufacturer out there. Year after year there products are getting worse and worse.
I will say this about those t2000s, (and the 4ks for that matter) they are usually pretty strong. I know the RF prime line is shotty, but there higher end amps (I think they are the "power" series can't remember) are usually pretty good about doing rated. A buddy of mine a couple years ago bought a brand new t2000 and it birthed 2470. They are power hungry though. Good amps IMO

yeah , after i posted i googled the model number and i know for a fact that those are pretty nice amps. I have heard a few of them in different installs and they pound!! My guess would be you don't have enough nuts under the hood to run it properly.

Gain set to 3/4. Frequency to 80. subsonic filter on. phase off becuase I'm only using one amp. Changed the fuse on the amp to a scorpion 250 anl fuse becuase the first one on the amp was a very cheap, small, and fake one that looked only 1/4 the size of the fuse I put on. 4 awg power and ground wires from second battery to amp that is also fused with a 250 anl fuse. Thats the only 4 awg and each power and ground wire is about 3 ft long.

Problem resolved. I set the freq to 120 with proper fusing. The amp sounds decent now. I notice that this amp hits the lows harder and louder than my t1000bdcp and weaker in the mids. So I set the freq lil higher. I'm going to add another kinetik battery I have setting in the garage. I'm happy with the results and decided to keep the amp.
