well i can say one thing right now. i freakin hate wanna be gang bangers. had a run in today with one and two of his friend seems like. me in my car and him in one and his two friends in the other. long story short i got 2 ****in bullet holes in my ****in door panel above my tweeter and one higher in the A pillar close to my head, but by the graces of God neither me nor any of my friends were hit. why do i tell you this? cause i hated them before, but now its risen to a peak i cant explain. its complete bullshit and its rackin my brain. i should also say to sammy1 from soundguard you might wanna wait on that free soundguard as im gettin rid of the explorer. im gonna try and trade it in or something for somethin else. i cant roll around my neighborhood in the explorer or it just might end up that itll be the last place ill be alive seeming as how i believe the dude or his buddies live around here and i wouldnt be suprised if they try to shoot me again if they see me. so that square footage we worked out on might not be the same on the next car sammy1. all this and these dudes look like they are gonna get away with it scott free.

i know man, we thought it was like fire crackers at first and me and my friends were pretty scared (im man enough to admit it). didnt even think to call the cops until we were sure we were clear. checked the car and found the bullet holes, called the cops, went through the paper work, and cops said since we dont really have much of a description its hard to do anyting about it. im definatly gonna be on the lookout though for them. im almost 100% sure they live in these apartments near my home. im still kinda freaked out though for sure. just kinda lookin for a place to spill my emotions ya know?

Yeah, sounds like a pretty simple case if the shell casings are still in your car.

they found that little front part of the bullet, the thing that actually shoots on the floor of my car. the cop pulled that out and i guess he took it in. he said it was cheap ammunition that came from like a .380 or some kind of smaller low power handgun or something.

Did they find the casings? Sounds like you know these people and know where they live. If the cops find the gun and the ballistics match, it's more or less open and shut.

i dont know them, but im so familiar with the area. they could have just been around from some other place but chances are they live there as its a pretty ghetto complex with lots of thugs and shit. i already rode by there about 5 times in a different car tryin to see if we could find the specific cars. as for finding the casings, i wouldnt know, the cops didnt even go down to the area i dont think. they just examined my car and found the bullet. they let us come to the station as we were pretty freaked and didnt wanna stay in the neighborhood and thats where they took pictures and all that.

i think they can but the problem is, gotta find these guys and make sure that the cops have probable cause or whatever to actually pull them over and search the car. would that be considered attempted murder or assault with a deadly weapon, or what?

Shell casings + finding the people who did it should be enough to get a search warrant for the gun so they can do a ballistics test. As far as the charge, I'd imagine it'd be attempted murder. You don't assault someone by shooting them.

Shell casings + finding the people who did it should be enough to get a search warrant for the gun so they can do a ballistics test. As far as the charge, I'd imagine it'd be attempted murder. You don't assault someone by shooting them.

yea what was i thinking about assault, sorry im a little wierded out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif . as far as shell casings, how would they get those? most likely they are in the street or in the guys car. i would think they would try to cover themselves. and all this after i land a new job. hope i dont get screwed for this in the long run.

if you can, you may consider going back to the place and looking for the casings

I believe they can compare via the bullets as well, which would probably be in your door panel. Talk to a detective.
