why every time i talk about my loud system in my echo ppl give me " In a ECHO?"

i would rather have a newer, warranteed, reliable, good gas mileage, non rusted "not cool" car than some of the shit people around here drive
I only had one rust spot and I fixed it! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

True story! I know that wasn't really directed at me, as my car is cheap, reliable and good on gas! Still, I did have a rust spot, which is all set now, go me! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yea i have a rust spot someone hit me on driver side rear quart panel and now it will cost alot to fix it so i am not going to stupid ppl with no insurance....

Not to be an ******* but I guess saying this would be an ******* move.

1. My truck shits bigger things than an echo.

2. It's an echo.

3. Why did you spend more money on your stereo than your car?

4. It's an echo.

5. Go ahead an put 500hp in it. It's still an echo.

I mean all of this in the nicest way possible.

When you get 500hp out of the 1.5liter VVTI let me know. Just not gonna happen...... no matter how hard you try.
so one has alrdy done it to a yaris so i know it can be done it would just take alot of mods its a twin turbo setup i believe i saw it a while back if i find the link ill post it.

show me your turd bigger than my echo.

once again its a commuter car for work and school when i bought the car i was poor i also dont know when ill lose my job im under contract at my job it can end anytime they ppl we work for want it to. SO i dont want to spend alot of money paying off a vehicle when i might not be able to pay for it in the future. Also i have alot of dental problems i need several root canals i can only do so many at a time with insurance only paying up to so much. ect lots of bills to pay most of it is dental and my system i suppose i could get a corolla but i alrdy spent to much on the echo besides its been hit on the side wont be worth shit for selling so might as well keep it.

Yeah, but at that point is it really worth it? Someone once told me, while I was restoring an old beetle (I still think the VW is a cool car, and he's wrong on that respect, but this still applies I think) is that no matter how much hp it has, its still a beetle. So while you *COULD* potentially squeeze 500hp out of it, its still an echo. Not even mentioning reliability issues with an engine that maxed out. At that point your really better off going with a different vehicle for modifications. Makes more sense cost-wise (its gonna cost a shtload of money to get that engine to 500hp, maybe not so much with a v8 or something) and for reliability purposes Just some food for thought.

it would not be hard to make a twin turbo setup with nos and have 500 hp its finding a ****** to hold up. and everything else.
