Why do some artists make songs that have crappy bass?

when they mix the song, most the time they mix it to sound good on the normal person's stereo, they don't mix every song so that it sounds good on 100db's of pure bass, yea there are some songs that do, but most of the people who actually still BUY music have stock stereo's in there car so thats what they make it sound good on.

lol get some decent 2 or 3 way comp speakers it'll sound MUCH better, and its important for producing because you need to hear in detail what you're doing, otherwise they can sound alright on ur laptop speaker but sound like shit on a decent sytem

That's exactly what I was thinking when he chose to name Gucci on the shitty bass list. Most his songs are bass oriented it seems, compared to most...

dont get me wrong i just feel sometimes my woofers are going to die cause of some of the notes he lets out. im cool with the low long bass but i cant explain the bass that hurts , gucci mane is the shit better then jezzy i say
