Why do some artists make songs that have crappy bass?

I wonder if they even listen to a song to see how it sounds on a system before releasing it. There are so many songs where this happens. Soulja boi is one of em for example, even though i dont like the song.

thats the only real reason i listen to rap / hip hop music. I REALY DISLIKE THE LYRICS IN THAT CULTURE. But I enjoy the Beats. I'd rather listen to bass mechanic then lil wayne anyday! or dddesigns beats are good too

listen to some Jack Johnson songs on a system and some OAR songs

I highly doubt if any one of them takes the master out to their car and listens to it there. If the shit sounds good in the studio, that's what matters. It would be cool if an artist tuned their music to a real world environment.
