Direct downloads? Am i missing something?

What I mean is you download it directly from a web server where the file is hosted. There are a great deal of good websites out there where people post links to their uploaded goods and you download them directly, from Rapidshare, Megaupload, etc. I have a 6 month Rapidshare account to avoid download limitations and download constantly at my connection speed max (about 200-230KB/s)

eh, about 50/50 shot on those. It depends on what you're looking for too, I wouldnt expect that kinda of data with a Jeezy album or mixtape or something.

IRC was great 5 years ago, Bittorrent is the best option as of now, and Newsgroups are making a comeback as well.

No, utorrent is a program you use to download torrents from a site like demonoid.

No, its just a tool that lets you utilize the torrent file itself. The torrent file contains information about the files you were downloading that have a unique identifier, and the trackers it should connect to, which what Demonid is, a tracker that tells you who has the files you are trying to download. Everyone that is sharing or downloading connects to a tracker(s), but some trackers have more people downloading than sharing, and these are most likely a public tracker.

i use torrent communitys witch u tend to find the better stuff and ive never seen a virus. sum ppl dont like the ratio aspect of these. torrents are the shit man

what do you use? i have had a couple times where my antivirus has caught a virus or coruppted file. i use demonoid and sometimes piratebay
