Not just torrents, pretty much any p2p. I do occasionally use WinMX for single music files

They never work good for me, there are always VERY slow and are too much work. Direct downloads are so much better IMO.

And aside from that, as a seeder, you can more easily be traced and caught for sharing files. Direct downloads FTW.

Usually, I average 300kb/s down, sometimes significantly more than that. If you're basing your opinions off of public trackers, I'm not surprised you're getting slow connection speeds.

I only know of a few sources that have direct downloads of lossless files that aren't transcodes (that are free, anyway), and usually, it requires patching multiple files together to get the finished result //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I've gotten a bunch of albums that way, but if anything, torrents are less work than that...
