Why can't this be ported?

On the JL site it says the 13TW5 can't be ported.... does anyone know why?

would I be safe to port my 13TW5s they will be in separate boxes but running off of one J2-1000.1

I really want to be able to do the hair trick //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif the chicks sitting infront of any ported box should be victims of a hair trick right?

PLease leave feedback, thanks!

even a small hair trick? they are going to be positioned on the sides facing inward next to my rear seats... basically theyll be a few inches from the sub..would it cause any sort of hair trick? or a decent rumble/shake?

Yes they are the shallow mount.
My guess is a Jeep for the car....
hmm...wonder if his name is Brandon too.

OP i wouldn't expect to be doing any hair tricks unless you have at least like 2 15's. I'm not talking about shallow mount stuff, you would be wanting to get the 1k+ subs. shallow mounts don't have much excursion and definitely do not have the motor force to produce a hair trick.

Most likely not. They are not made for that.

You will get a good, smooth sound from them but they are not for "shaking" things. Please do not use them in a ported app.

LOL 13w5's for hairtricks LMFAO! You'll want to look into other brands besides JL if you ever want to do a hair trick. You should probably see how many hairtrick vids there are on youtube using JL equipment.

I see. ok well yes I do have a jeep for a car. and as for the comment about bending down is false.. the subs will be like head/neck level due to the set up of the car haha. Ehhh will I need another battery? If so how much would it cost me? I have seen videos of people getting a good shake/mirror flex in their cars using 13TW5s so I am assuming I can expect some more rumble and tumble in my car by adding these?
