why can't I get a credit card?

Im 22, I make about 50k a year (gross) I have a truck loan for about 10k that i've never been late on (had it for about 5 months now, and paid off my first truck with a loan (for 3k). I've had my own cell phone plan and car insurance for 4-5 years now (since i finished h.s). When I apply for credit cards online I keep getting denied, and it seems all I can get is prepaid cards. Any help is greatly appreciated guys!!

Ya just dont get a credit card and especially rightnow banks arent giving CC"s out and dont keep applying it hurts your Credit score everytime you apply.. Trust me dont get one

im trying to build my credit. I don't go wild with spending, im just going to use it for dinners, here and there, etc. Just a few hundred a month

you dont want a credit card anyway. its the easiest way to screw yourself

every time your credit is run it takes something like 5 points off of your score.

Because financially this country is on its last leg and they don't want to loan money they wont get back when we crash completely.

Or your credit score is to low with lack of prior credit.
