SSD/Icon

Hmm... I talked to the owner of SSA and he said that though the Icon is a SQ sub, it's meant for more higher power SQ applications, around 1000wRMS. I only have my PDX1.600 on tap for right now and might not be able to pick up a 1.1000 depending on what happens this summer. I see that the SSD has an 800wRMS rating so that's a bit closer to my restrictions...

Would a 15" SSD be worthwhile on 600-700wRMS in order to get that extra low-end extension and bump I'm looking for while still retaining some sound quality? Or is a 12 the way to go?

I know it doesn't need 1000wRMS, just like my Dayton doesn't need 600. However, will a 12 or 15" Icon get low enough and bump well enough on 600-700wRMS?

I'm honestly asking cuz I have no clue.
