i was curious to why you guys think that re,ed and stereo integrity makes great products?

i heard a magnum d2 and an xxx before and i was not impressed.

i am almost posative that my 2 10 inch jl's could get louder and sound better than the 2 10 inch xxx's i heard.

Considering that I put down several JL systems last summer, with a single HC and 800 watts...including one 13W7 with 1.5kw on it...I would say that RE makes great products...

the magnum i heard was in a house ran of a hifonics 150 or somthing and i didnt think it got to loud but my friend said it was for sound qaulity not slb or somthing like that.

Your comparing a magnum that was used in a house compared to ur jls used in a car. Put the mags in a car and they will make u wish u had them instead of ur jls.

Companies that you metnioned, they are great because the owners *** designers of the subs have a passion for great sound, and not all geared toward profits. They also need to have at least a minimum quality, as these companies aren't huge corporations, and largely depend on word of mouth for sales.

Forums can make or break companies overnight. Matt overpeck ( i wasn't around then to see it, but I read the old archived files) and his audiomobile, DOn and beyond audio, shocker (dunno their name), all these might have fallen due to diminishing street cred.
