no i understand you think beamers are feminine and you like chevies. i wasn't really directing that at you, just the trolls that responded telling me how their cars are sooo much better than mine because they got so angry that someone got jealous over my car
but i will say its ironic that you do not feel allegiance to the planet which gave you life but you feel attached to the country you reside in (which is ultimately temporary, countries come and go) the planet however is your 1 only way of sustaining you or your offsprings life, and if you, like me, think that you live on through your offspring and you're carelessly sporting a 4x4 gas guzzling menace *shrug* dig yourself and the rest of us a grave. your allegiance should be to your family and friends first, to the planet second, and to your country of residence LAST.

i dont really care about the planet. whether i burn as much fuel as i do or not, someone else will burn twice as much. so who cares.

and im safe. i worked in collision repair. ive seen what happens to benz's, beamers and lambos in accidents. yes, they are on the leading edge of safety in cars, i wont dispute that. but ive also worked on the trucks that have been in the accidents with the benz's, beamers and high end cars. and its alot easier to replace a front bumper beam on a truck, than it is to put a whole side on a car. the price tag wont save your life.

im safe. im guarding my life. i wont trade it so generations 100 years from now wont get sunburnt. i dont care.

As for my car being a piece of shit... lol. It's no different than an 05/04/03 all they changed was the headlights, get real, and the newer "facelifted" ones don't even look nicer or newer they just look different. 05 chevy silverado crew cab Z71. 6inch fabtech lift, 35x12.50x17 procomp tires (i wanted mudders, but they would have taken too much abuse, and sacrificed ride), superchips programmer, dual flowmaster exhaust, throttle body spacer, and intake.
i bought a truck because a vaginitis stricken beamer cant do anything i need to do. such as haul my 4wheelers, tow our mudtrucks to mud boggs, or make it to the other side of our property with each of our vehicles on the trailor behind it after hurricanes because the land is flooded.

and the only reason i have money in my truck is because ive wanted it, ive worked for it, and im keeping it until it wont run anymore.

I mean its irritating to constantly having to deal with being labeled a "rich prick" cause you drive a certain car, but when you do it right back and call someone a ****ing redneck they get offended. Shit imagine if I questioned the ***** I talked about earlier and started asking HER stupid questions about HER car and how SHE paid for it, and then at the end of it all started rolling my eyes and implied she was an average working class piece of shit for driving her 94 impala or whatever she drives. Its the same shit done to us (people who drive bmws/lexus/whatever) on a regular basis, and once you see it from the other side you see how annoying it is

Do I try to make a statement with my car? NO. It has no custom shit on it (beside the m-tech OEM bmw m3 aerodynamics kit), it does not look out of place in a driveway or on the road. Am I trying to act out and be all that? No. Actually the same cant be said for someone with a huge truck with huge wheels, there's some show off behavior right there. But I'm automatically labeled the show off. See?

but if your offended by what i drive..then why dont you write a letter to walmart and protest the tractor trailor rigs that take merchandise from warehouse to store, stuff you need on a day to day basis. or the construction companies running their equipment to make the roads people like you need so their suspension components dont get ripped out when they hit a pothole. or the oil companies that run the tankers to get the gas stations the gas they sell, that you use.

my truck serves a purpose. and i use it alot more than what you use your car for. and if i didnt have to do all the things i need my truck for, i would still drive one. not as big, but apickup truck yes. because of the safety factor. ill gladly pay the gas prices if it means having more metal around me in case of an accident.

nah i know where you're coming from. i actually had a friend who was into the same cars (has a silverado) and way back when when i got my car he liked it too. it doesnt have to be a dickwaving festival when talking about cars which so many people make it into a MY CAR IS BETTER THAN YOUR CAR type of thing like they're ****ing 16 and just got their first car

im still running my first truck. my dakota.

after all the $$ ive put into the chevy, i only really use it when i have to. waiting till i dont have to drive so much, keep the miles off the it. my kota has mad miles on it anyways.

so the chevy is just chillin in the shop as a decoration.

My truck is actually my POS that I get to treat however I want. When Im hunting, fishing, or camping. I want to be able to get there without worrying about the paint job or anything.
